We were approached to design a system for a client in Uplyme for a solar PV and battery system.

The property had a standing seam roof which required extensive research into the appropriate clamp to use as a fixing. The mounting system was installed, solar panels fitted, as well as a 10kW battery storage system.

Fully commissioned and registered with the appropriate certification bodies, the system provides the client with 90% of their energy requirements leading to a significant reduction in their monthly energy bill.

We also gave advice on how to use off peak tariffs to charge the battery overnight and making use of the stored energy during peak times to make further bill savings.
